freedom song

I have noticed a theme in the songs I like.  They all have to do with some form of freedom.  Here are some examples from different times in my life:

Motorcycle Drve by by Third Eye Blind
(Here is the song)

Careening through the universe
Your axis on a tilt, you're guiltless and free
I hope you take a piece of me with you
And there's things I'd like to do
That you don't believe in
I would like to build something
But you never see it happen
And there's this burning
Like there's always been
I've never been so alone
And I've, I've never been so alive

Honey and the Moon by Joseph Arthur
(Here is a video)

We're made out of blood and rust
looking for someone to trust
without
a fight
I think that you came too soon
you're the honey and the moon
that lights
up my night

But right now
everything you want is wrong,
and right now
all your dreams are waking up,
and right now
I wish that I could follow you
to the shores
of freedom
where no one lives

freedom
run away tonight
freedom freedom
run away
run away tonight

Sigh No More by Mumford and Sons.
This is my new favorite song, so I included all of the lyrics.
(here is an awesome video)

Serve God love me and men
This is not the end
Lived unbruised we are friends
And I'm sorry
I'm sorry

Sigh no more, no more
One ? one unsure
My heart was never pure
And you know me
And you know me

And man is a giddy thing
Oh man is a giddy thing
Oh man is a giddy thing
Oh man is a giddy thing

Love that will not betray you, dismay or enslave you,
It will set you free
Be more like the man you were made to be.
There is a design,
An alignment to cry,
At my heart you see,
The beauty of love as it was made to be (x4)

What is freedom to you?  To me...it changes.  Today it is spring and adventure.  :)

succulent garden

Family Tree Nursery had a great succulent planting workshop this weekend!!  It was a fun family outing.  The boys both made a garden for their special friends!  Paul and I made one...actually I planted our garden and Paul fed the fish and chased the little dudes.    :)

Good times.
